Looks like it will be very useful. Works well with IPod Touch 5th gen. It crashed occasionally. Amazing concept, nice execution

V1.05 seems to run without crashing. Works really well on most items on a menu from a Chinese restaurant. Gets confused when English is mixed in (like X. O. Sauce). Highly recommended if you Chinese food. Waiting for improvements to handle a much larger vocabulary. Keep up the good work!

Works as advertised, translation often better than the English menu equivalent!

Works on everything Ive pointed at if so far. Not excited about the 10 translation limit. But good app. Simpler than others like pleco.

Well if it was downloadable I would rate it better

Tried to use this app on many occasions during recent trip to Tokyo, it did not recognize the majority of the fonts used in restaurants. When it was able to translate, the translation was laughable. I would not recommend this app.

This is great it worked for me because I had a japan candy kit and I didnt know how to read it and I used the app and I knew what it said after. Great app

Best use is for translating restaurant menus and street signs.

Please add the Thai language next!!

One day these kind of apps will work, but not yet... Tried it on my Japanese printer instruction manual and it said something about a river. Three more scans returned no result, then before long I was told to pay ¥700 for something which clearly doesnt work...

It is the useful apps for those who want to learn japnese language especially those who pay attention in khanji...... Go on ....... :p:d

This app was exactly what I needed.

a wonderful application to have in your phone when youre living here in japan.very fast and easy and conevenient.like you dont have to call a friend to translate some kanji that you dont understand,especially when youre in hurry.cheers! thank you for this app!:)

Extremely useful. Of course it isnt perfect, but no visual translator is. Its usually enough to get the gist of Japanese text. Well worth paying the one-off fee for unlimited translations.

Not one successful translation of any words in the newspaper headlines or posters at the train station. Disappointing.

It is like magic! I used it everyday in China.
